Owner and Master Technician, Mark De La Fuente, decided it was time to change that. After more than a decade of witnessing poor customer care and sub-par automotive service, he established Mobi Mechanix, LLC. in 2022.
Mark envisioned a company that would usher in a new era of auto service for San Antonio and the Greater Hill Country areas through unmatched convenience, reliable service, and trustworthy technicians.

Mark De La Fuente has spent the last 15 years learning about and servicing vehicles of all makes, models, and engine types. Aside from working with traditional autos, Mark is also a skilled diesel mechanic, and he prides himself on treating every automobile as if it were his own.
Growing up in a small town in Southwest Texas, his interest in fixing cars was inspired by watching his grandfather keep the family vehicles in good working condition.This upbringing propelled him into pursuing higher education in this field.
After high school, he attended Southwest Texas Junior College and received his Certification in Diesel Technology. Mark began work out in the oil fields as a diesel mechanic repairing company trucks but, after two years, he decided to venture out and moved to San Antonio, TX. He spent the next year there as a general maintenance technician at a Goodyear Auto Service facility.
Never wanting to become complacent, Mark moved on to a position at a local dealership where he became a Lead Internal Technician. It was here where he earned specialties in Engine Diagnosis, Electrical Systems, Chassis, Brakes and Handling, Air Conditioning and Heating Systems, Convertible Vehicles, and much more. He spent the last 8 years at the dealership working on every component of a vehicle from hood to trunk.
However, the challenges that come along with working in a corporate setting made Mark realize he could do more. As an owner of his own auto and diesel mechanic company, he knew he would be able to make changes that could improve the quality of service his clients would receive.
